Dr Pamela Phillips is a neurolinguist and cognitive scientist by training. Dr Phillips’s chief interests lie at the interface of cognition and bilingual education. With her entrepreneurial and public service engagements, Dr Phillips also advances her research agenda on reading and listening in second language acquisition.
Dario brings to the Vallejo Center for Learning Spanish his extensive experience teaching Spanish to foreigners in Bolivia, Ecuador, Colombia and Peru. Dario is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, where he also completed his M.A. in Iberian and Latin American Literatures and Cultures.
Nidia earned her M.A. in Linguistics from the University of California in Los Angeles (UCLA). She has taught Spanish for Foreigners in Spain, Argentina, and the US.
He studied Education at the University of Illinois and he has taught Spanish for foreigners in Uruguay, Paraguay and in the US.
Monica earned her PhD in Education from the Universidad de los Andes, Colombia. She has experience both in the classroom and in the lab, having worked as educator and instructional technologies specialist in Colombia, Uruguay, Argentina and the US.
Gio graduated from the Pontifical Catholic University in Puerto Rico, and pursued his master’s and doctoral studies at the Santo Domingo University in the Dominican Republic. Gio has taught Spanish in various schools in Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic and in the US.
Fernando Diaz has a bachelor’s in education. He has taught Spanish for foreigners in Peru, Argentina, Ecuador and the USA.
Richard Vera has a bachelor’s in education and has taught Spanish to foreigners in Peru, Ecuador, Bolivia and the USA.
Flor Campos has a bachelor’s in education. She has taught Spanish for foreigners in Peru, and the USA.
Linda Cornelius has a bachelor’s in Tourist Administration from the University of Andina del Cusco.
Joel Cantoran has a bachelor’s in education from the University of Illinois.
Margarita Santos has a bachelor’s in education from the University of Illinois,
Gabrielle has a bachelor’s in Psychology and Criminal Justice from Chicago State University. She studies Spanish and works at the Vallejo Center for Learning Spanish.
He has taught Spanish for foreigners in El Salvador and in the US.
Madeleine studies at the University of Illinois. She also has a passion for teaching Spanish in the US.
Carla studies education at the University of Illinois. She has experience teaching Spanish and English to children in a diverse range of elementary schools in the US.
Stasa has a bachelor’s in media studies from the University of Rijeka. He studies Spanish and works at the Vallejo Center for Learning Spanish.
